Main Types of Resistance (4)

i) group (several, or many, people actively resist the change, ie strength in numbers)

ii) passive (people disagree with a change and remain silent, ie
"...go with the flow but deep down resist the change..."

iii) active (people in this category are vocal and act against the change, ie
"...Directly or indirectly, they find a way to let matters stay the same..."

iv) attachment (have strong emotional links with status quo, ie the way things are now; try to convince others not to change. If it proves not possible to fully block the change, they will attempt to compromise to retain parts of the status quo.)
