Technique 1.172      Personal Change (SACRED)

Introduction
This focuses on using the SACRED framework (see framework 170) to develop your own plan.
Answering the questions in the diagram below will help you plan for success by starting with strategy and beginning to build your plan including what other options are available; considering how to move forward, etc.

NB Don't forget to do reflection and be careful of relying on unfounded assumptions.

By answering these above questions you can get a better understanding of what the change means to you and what you could do about it (including the need to modify your approach).

Don't underestimate the importance of hope, ie internal drive and inspiration. If you have hope that your plan will work, you are more likely have the energy to execute it.
Similarly, knowing how to implement your change is important.

You need to understand how people take ownership of the change for themselves, ie involves reflection, timelines, praise, recognition, rewards, incentives, etc.
