Technique 6.36 Zero Draft (Form A Brainstorming)

Introduction

Zero Draft involves a brain dump of your initial ideas; getting everything you can think of relating to the topic down on paper - irrespective of its potential value.

It has minimal constraints while allowing you to make sense of your ideas and record them

Process

"...- write down everything you currently know about the subject
     - write down what you need or want to know about the subject, but don't currently know
     - reflect on why the subject is important
     - add anything else that takes your fancy (this is a chance to get whatever is floating around in your head out into the world.)..."

An example is marketing:
