Technique 4.16      Charisma Rating Scale

Introduction

Charisma is often described as a blend of personal magnetism, confidence and social influence that draws others in.

It is not just about being charming; it is about how someone makes others feel.

Research in psychology and leadership studies highlights observable signs of charisma in behaviour, communication and presence.

As it is a quality most accurately judged by others, it is best done by assessment someone else. Thus, self-assessment is not valid.

Using a rating scale (eg. 1–5 for each item) to measure charisma more systematically.
