Phase 3: Implement

3.1 Awareness activity

Leader briefing: conducted leader briefing and supplied leaders with materials (eg, key messages they can tailor, FAQs, mini comms plan)

 

Stakeholder engagement: confirmed Project Manager/Sponsor have made all key stakeholders aware of communication activity

 

Other comms activity: all comms related to the awareness phase rolled out

 

3.2 Launch activity

Go live: confirmed it is okay to start communicating

 

Comms activity: rolled out/published all comms as per the launch phase of the plan

 

Leader support: checked in on leaders’ communication to ensure it is going to plan, offer support, gather feedback

 

3.3 Embed activity

Comms activity: rolled out/published all comms as per the embed phase of the plan

 

Leader support: reminded leaders of any relevant comms activity for this phase

 

Phase 4: Check & Correct

Gather measurement: gathered data from channels; feedback from leaders and other stakeholders

 

Report: developed and submitted report to senior leaders, outlining the key change communication activity, outcomes and business impacts achieved

 

Update: updated any comms materials / messaging based on feedback received
