As life rarely goes as planned, need to develop habits to handle life's challenges.

Some habits for people staying strong, even when life doesn't go as planned.

Habits (10)

i) embrace failure (instead of fearing failure and highlighting the negatives of failure, it is welcomed as a learning experience, ie a blessing in disguise

They welcome stepping out of their comfort zone intentionally, ie challenge their mental and physical limits; this can help build resilience.)

ii) practice detachment (they don't take things personally, especially things you have no control over, ie they are open to outcomes beyond their control; this leads to greater peace and flexibility in the face of change; for example, rather than being attached to a specific job title or career path, they focus on acquiring transferable skills and being receptive to opportunities that align with their strengths, interests, values, etc)

iii) have a positive mindset (positive figures focus on solutions rather than dwelling on challenges, ie see the potential for improvement; this proactive approach empowers them to take action

iv) use humour (finding humour, irony or absurdity in a situation is a very powerful coping mechanism; appreciating the lighter side of challenging situations gives them relief and a more positive perspectives

v) visualise success (involves imagining successful outcomes; this help build confidence and prepares the mind to handle challenges more effectively)

vi) be physically active (regular physical activity benefits both the body and the mind;

vii) be kind (help others create a sense of purpose and fulfilment; acts of kindness benefits both the recipient and the giver, ie for the latter, it reduces the stress, improve self-esteem, mood and happiness

viii) learn from nature (like nature you need to find ways to conserve energy, manage resources and adapted to challenging situations, ie earn more and save more.)

ix) explore 'what if' scenarios (prepare for unexpected challenges; predicting potential challenges ahead and developing strategies to handle them effectively.)

x) listen to music (regularly listen to music you like
