Introduction

It is important that you understand which teams you are a member of, your role in them and what you bring to each team, ie strengths, and where you can improve

Process

Fill in the below table to get an understanding team(s) you work with

Notes
i) list all teams you are a member of and/or work with
ii) list the roles you play in each of these teams like driver, doer, subject matter specialist, challenger, decision-making, listener, agitator, facilitator, relationship coordinator, historian, leader, notetaker, etc
iii) list your strengths and work on these; get somebody else whose strengths are your weaknesses, so that you complimentary each other in the team
iv) list areas that need improvement, ie add value (technical and non-technical); create a safe and non-threatening environment for a place of learning and growing; chase and embrace fresh ideas; look for diversity of thought and experience; hire smart people, etc
