Adult Development Linkages

According to Kegan there are 3 levels of adults development that link with the above, ie

        i) socialised mind (you are shaped by the expectations of those around you, ie what you think and say is strongly influenced by what you think others want to hear)

        ii) self-authoring mind (developed your own ideology and internal compass; sense of self is aligned with your own belief system, personal code and values)

       iii) self-transforming mind (understand the limitations of your ideology; able to hold contradictory and opposing thinking; less need to gravitate towards polarised thinking)
