Two Sides to Technology

Depending on how they used, technologies can have massive positive and/or negative impacts.

Some examples

• nuclear power can supply cheap electricity. However, it has the potential to destroy mankind and the planet.
• the Internet has made routine tasks less burdensome plus allowed more people access to information and data, ie democratisation of information. However, it can be a source of misinformation, eg fake news and increased scamming
