Commitment as Part of Buy-in
Commitment is defined as

There are 3 types of commitment:
- i) affective commitment (shows employees’ emotional attachment to the organisation; it includes the following characteristics:
- personal
- structural
- job related
- work experiences

- ii) normative commitment (this is linked with the feeling of obligation to remain with the organisation.

iii) continuous commitment (sometimes called instrumental commitment as staff evaluate that the benefits of staying with the organisation outweigh the negatives).
